In 2010, KITE came up with a unique concept for the maintenance and repair of damaged computers at schools – the Hardware Clinics. Through this programme, intensive hardware training was given to the teachers which boosted their confidence to such a level that they could handle most problems found in PC. Every year Crores worth of ICT equipments are made functional, which would otherwise be kept apart as e-Waste.
