KITE has been providing Broadband internet connectivity to all schools in Kerala from 2007 onwards. As part of High-Tech school project, broadband connectivity provided to secondary schools is now being upgraded to High Bandwidth broadband connectivity. The high speed internet connectivity is being provided to Lower Primary and Upper Primary schools also. KITE has signed an agreement with BSNL / RailTel for providing Internet facility to all Government, Aided schools with special tariff package. Strict guidelines has been issued by the Project for usage of broadband connections in schools.
